Safari photography is a sport that mixes artistic and photographic qualities with athletic abilities, such as the ability to make one’s way though mountains, and a knowledge of nature and trekking. The foundation of this interesting sporting activity is that the objectives of the hunt are not only birds and mammals, but also can include all fauna, from insects to large mammals, as well as amphibians and reptiles, spiders or birds, in addition to flower and plant species, scenery, geographic sites or examples of popular architecture, just to name a few cases. And, as you can imagine, the list of hunting objectives may be varied and open, and, above all else, will depend on the imagination of each participant.

Safari photography includes the spirit of adventure and is recommended for people with a desire to demand something more, as well as more of themselves. We will be visiting forests, walking along marshy trails, navigating in kayaks or canoes, riding horseback and seeing surrounding areas in motorboats.

During the safari-photo shoots we will be accompanied by local guides who know, to perfection, the Caño Negro Refuge and surrounding areas, in addition to having their sight trained on the search for animals.

If the client would like, we can arrange for a bilingual guide, with specialties in biology, ornithology, forestry, and so forth, to accompany them on the safari photo tour, for an additional price to be agreed upon.
